Birders,

A couple days ago, Jean Gramlich posted to SE-MI-Birdlist that she had a
Spotted Towhee coming to her feeders, starting about two weeks ago. I've
communicated with her, and she's sent me photos of the bird. The photos are
not of the highest quality, but seem to show a towhee with more back
spotting than would be expected for an Eastern Towhee, but they're not good
enough to eliminate the possiblility of a hybrid.

Jean is open to having visitors coming to see and, hopefully, photograph the
bird.

She is located at 18060 Tipsico Lake Rd. in Rose township (mailing address
is Fenton). Take US 23 to Exit 77 White Lake Rd. Go east about 4 miles to
Tipsico Lake Rd. At the corner White Lake turns into Rose Center which is a
dirt road. Heavenly Scent Herb farm is on the corner. Turn left on Tipsico
and the house is 1.5 miles from here. It's a yellow cape cod on the left.
feeders are in the front yard. I view it from inside the house in this
weather, but it could be seen from outside (in the driveway).

===============================================
Every day, the hummingbird eats its own weight in food.
You may wonder how it weighs the food. It doesn't.
It just eats another hummingbird.
