Pomarine Jaeger-- 9/8 WPBO, Chippewa Co

Howdy folks,
 
I just got of the phone with Tom Auer over at Whitefish Point. He has had a juvenile POMARINE JAEGER on and off again all morning at the waterbird count. The bird was first seen yesterday for about 10 minutes before disappearing for the day, but seems to be hanging out to tempt the possible jaeger chase for those interested. Weather on Lake Superior today is a stormy north wind, so its hard to say how long the bird will remain in the area
