For the better part of this week a 2nd winter plumaged little gull has been
seen most days sporadically at Tiscornia Beach north of the piers at the
St. Joseph River outlet, usually with a large flock of common terns which
is sometimes present on the beach. Today there was a juvenile little gull
at Tiscornia which appeared as common terns flew in from the lake onto the
beach.
Better directions than I can provide to Tiscornia are on page 409 of A
Birder's Guide to Michigan. Tiscornia appears to be called North Beach in
my 2000 copy of the Delorme, page 26.
