Northern Shrike Jackson County 11/13/06

<p>Hi all,</p><p>   Had a Northern Shrike (adult) at crane count last night. Shrike was sighted from observation hill. Looking at Mud Lake Marsh just down from hill on small tree in middle of viewing area.</p><p>Location:</p><p>Haehnle Sanctuary is locaated 6 miles northeast of Jackson. From I-94: get off at Race Road (Exit 147) and go north 2 miles to Seymour Road; then go west (left) 1.5 miles to the entrance on the north (right) side of the road. Park by the large Haehnle sign and walk to obersation hill.</p><p>Good Birding,</p>
