Pomarine Jaeger, Wayne County

Today, November 11, at about 2:00 P.M. a juvenile Pomarine Jaeger was seen at the west tip of Belle Isle, Detroit, Wayne County by Alan Ryff, Joanna Pease, Chris Chamberlin and Marcia Kubacki.  As the jaeger approached, it momentarily floated overhead and then continued eastward crossing onto the Canadian side of the Detroit River.  Also, a juvenile Surf Scoter (having a white belly) was in the immediate area.
