November 10th

This afternoon Tex Wells and I saw an immature Parasitic Jaeger at
the western end of Belle Isle, between the island and "mainland"
Detroit. We first saw the bird around 3:30 p.m. and the bird was
still there when we left at 4:15 p.m. to check out the rest of the
island. Most of the time it was sitting in the Detroit River, rising
from time to time to vigorously chase Ring-billed Gulls.

We saw the Ovenbird again at Campus Martius in downtown Detroit.
