Just got back from Bay Big and saw the Vermilion Flycatcher between 10:00 and 11:00. This bird has been at the same spot for close to a month, and appears to be staying there till the weather goes bad. The forecast for Friday and Saturday are for 1 to 5 inches of snow. With temps near or just above freezing during the day. So, the bug supply is the question. Did you know you can buy crickets at "Mares Z Doats" in Marquette; just a thought if you're going that why. Good Luck, Mark & Joanie Hubinger P.S. For those "down-staters" thinking of coming up this weekend, I'll try to find out tomorrow if the bird is still there. Your welcome.
