Greater White-fronted Goose: Livonia

Early this afternoon there was an adult Greater White-fronted Goose at the Marywood Nursing Care Center in Livonia.  The bird was first seen with on the lawn along Five Mile Rd. east of Newburgh Rd.  Later it moved to the south and was on the softball field.  It was with a flock of Canadas and they may be found anywhere within that St. Mary's hospital area as well as the Madonna U campus.  Also, there are a lot of geese at the Idyl Wild golf course on the north side of Five Mile east of Levan.  Another place worth looking is Newburgh Lake, a couple miles to the south along Hines Drive.....
