Yellow-throated & Prairie Warbler Allegan Co 5/1/06

Greetings,

A Yellow-throated Warbler is continueing it's stay along the east side of the Kalamazoo River south of the parking lot at the M-89 bridge. Listen for it in the sycamore trees there. You may wish to follow the foot trail (starts as a two track) along the river bank to get further into the habitat. Cerulean Warbler arrived at this location today.

Also, Prairie Warbler are again on territory at the Oval Beach, Saugatuck. Climb the low dunes at the north east corner of the parking lot and follow the trails down into the swale along the fence line. Listen for them there.
