Snowy Owl, Huron Co

I received a call from an individual today who said he and his sister  
have seen a Snowy Owl on a telephone on Attwater Road two miles west  
of Ruth in Huron County on June 10th & 11th and photographed the  bird.

It has been striking how many Snowy Owls lingered into late Spring  
and now Summer in Michigan.  On June 10th a group of us looked  
without success in northern Mason County that had been seen in early  
June.
