Listers,
Just got word (12:15 pm) from Adam Byrne that there is a Tri-colored Heron
at Pointe Mouillee. The bird was first seen in the Long Pond Unit about an hour
ago and it flew into the Lead Unit near the pump house about a half hour
ago. Also seen in flight twice was a/the plegadis Ibis, possibly the same Glossy
that has been there for a week.
Beware, another birder had their car broken into at the Sigler Road parking
area yesterday. I would recommend parking at Mouillee Creek and walking in the
center dike, but this could be risky as well.
happy chasing,
Scott Jennex
