Both Crossbill species, Chippewa Co. 12/27-28

All,
Small flocks of Red and White-winged Crossbills were roaming around in 
Hulbert Bog (Basnau Rd.), Chippewa Co. on 12/27 and again on 12/28.  Red 
seemed slightly more numerous.  Other interesting observations: numerous Am. 
Goldfinch and Pine Siskins, but no Redpolls.  A Rough-legged Hawk overhead 
on the 28th.  No Boreal Chickadees seen despite searching the area for 
nearly two days.
