Red-throated Loon, Midland CBC

On yesterday's (Dec. 16) Midland CBC, a Red-throated Loon was observed by  
Joe Soehnel and myself at the Midland Cogeneration Venture Pond.  There is  no 
public access to the pond without special permission which is usually only  
granted to groups or for the CBC and then only sparingly.  There is a  slight 
possibility the bird may be visible from a viewing point on Gordonville  Rd.  For
