Birders,
 Will Weber and I biked Pte. Mou from about 6:30am to
11am this morning.  Weather was perfect, with no
biting insects.  Highlights:
  Middle western side of Vermet:
Tricolored Heron
  NW corner of Vermet:
Marbled Godwit
B-b Plover
6 S-b Dowitchers
  North end of Cell 3:
Stilt Sandpiper
4 S-b Dowitchers
plus the usuals in all locations.  No Cattle Egrets or
Buff-breasted Sandpiper seen.  Other sightings
included three Feds racing around looking for Mute
Swans to test for bird flu, and the Border Patrol
racing around looking for, presumably, illegal aliens.
 No other birders were seen.

  11am at the SGA HQ boat launch:
Baird’s Sandpiper in a puddle in the parking lot
Ruddy Turnstone, same 
2 Least Sandpipers, all in the same location,
accompanied by House Sparrows. 

12pm, Walz Rd. sod farm, Wayne County:

Buff-breasted Sandpiper (way back in green on north
side of Ash Rd., east of irrigation pipe).
B-b Plover

1pm, Gooding & Willow Rd. Sod farm, Washtenaw County:
