Snowy Egrets, Monroe County

The two Snowy Egrets first reported at the Gun Club (Erie Marsh  
Preserve) on Aug. 5 were still there at around 11:00 this morning  
(Aug 9).  Follow the dike south from the parking area on out to and  
around the southwest corner of the Preserve and continue east. As  
soon as you pass the corner start looking for gaps in the vegetation  
that allow you to see the water on your left.  This morning one of  
the Snowy Egrets was on the far edge of the water just past the  
corner and the other was on the far edge about 300 yards farther east.
