Greetings,
Just a heads up, Craig Bateman and I spent a few hours biking around Point
Mouillee this morning and were rewarded with a close fly-by of the
previously reported Tricolored Heron between the Vermet and Lead Units. The
heron landed somewhere far out in the Lead Unit and was not seen again. Most
of the shorebirds (including juveniles of several species) and terns were in
Cell 3, but nothing of particular note was present today.
We were also able to relocate one of the Snowy Egrets at the Erie Gun Club
in the same general area as reported yesterday...just look for the large
group of Great Egrets, probably want a scope for this.
good luck,
