Hello
At 6:56pm on March 22, Lena Usyk and I photographed a
Great Gray Owl as it was foraging over 7-10 inches of
snow in the Garden Peninsula. The precise location was
along KK Road (6 miles southwest of the village of
Garden), 0.1 mile south of M-183. The Peninsula can be
a good spot for the owls during invasion years.
According to a local report, another had been recently
seen a few miles further south.
Two Northern Shrikes were perched at separate
locations along the M-183.
