At noon today I drove up to Whitefish Point and saw a female winter plumage long-tailed duck. There hasn't been anything at the harbor all winter so this was a welcome sighting. Unfortunately the Rosy-Finch has not returned to my yard, but yesterday a Pine Siskin put in an appearance, the first for 05 here on Lost Lake Rd. Betty Maxson, Paradise. MI
