Howdy Folks,

I encountered a singing Western Meadowlark today in the extreme southwest portion of Marquette County. The bird was in the farm where SI/SK 426 Road deadends north of County RD. 426. This is north of the tiny town of Watson. Truthfully this bird is in the middle of nowhere and could be hard to relocate.
Other good sightings today included Red-headed Woodpecker at the Meadowlark location, and a pair of Black-backed Woodpeckers just east of Ralph, Dickinson County.

I also spoke with Louie Dombroski this evening and he had an adult Franklin's Gull this afternoon at the tip of WPBO.

Good Birding
