Community College is between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.
  Exit US23 at Geddes Rd., go east on Geddes to
Dixboro Rd., south on Dixboro, east on Huron River
Drive, then see Mike K's directions below.

Subject: [birders] little blue heron 
    
This morning there was a juvenile (white with
blue-gray bill) little blue heron at the main pond 
at Washtenaw Community College.   The pond is accessed
from Huron River Drive, just east of Dixboro 
(major construction site).  Enter the FIRST road east
of Dixboro, proceed south until the road 
makes a sharp curve to the LEFT.  The pond will be on
your right.  Find a spot to park and easily 
examine the whole pond.  There are also great blue
heron and great egret.
