Highlights:
July 7
Kirtland's Warbler area, southern Crawford County:
Kirtland's Warbler (saw 2 of 3 singing males), Palm Warbler (2 singing 
males), Clay-colored Sparrow, Red-shouldered Hawk, Olive-sided 
Flycatcher, Lincoln's Sparrow (3 singing males), and Brewer's Blackbird 
(22).

July 8
Yellow-crowned Night-Heron: Two adults at the nesting location near 
Parma. Thank you, Chuck and Sue, for your hospitality!
Carolina Wren: Singing male in the city of Lansing. Thank you, Clara and 
Ron (of the wonderful Carl G. Fenner Nature Center), for indicating 
possible locations in Lansing (and thanks to Ron for his assistance 
later, allowing for better viewing!).
Winter Wren: Singing male at Carl G. Fenner Nature Center, on the 
southwestern edge of Woodland Pond.
