N. Hawk-Owl, Alger Co., 12/1/05

A Northern Hawk-Owl was "perched up" on the south side of M28 in Shelter Bay 
at 4:30 this afternoon.  From the intersection of M28 and Hwy 41 south of 
Marquette, drive 20.5 miles east on M28.  The bird was perching in the tops 
of the conifers in the somewhat more open, boggy habitat on the right side
