Today at Muskegon Wastewater Treatment facility, Sara Oliver and I saw two
Eared Grebes, one in fairly bright breeding plumage, and one Horned Grebe
(non-breeding plumage). We also saw 25 American Golden Plovers and 1
Black-bellied Plover. As reported previously, there were hundreds of American Pipits.
Also at least 1,000 Tree Swallows (with a few others mixed in). A Peregrine
Falcon and a few other shorebirds (one Yellowlegs, some Pectorals, a few
Baird's, three Sanderlings, one probable Dunlin rounded out our sightings. No
Sabine's or Lesser Black-backed Gulls were sighted.

Good birding,
Jan Shillito
