Birders-

Late on the morning of Sept 2, I stopped by DeBuck's Sod Farm in Howell, off of I-96. From the side of Milett Rd, where it runs parallel to the expressway, I found 1 Stilt Sandpiper (non-breeding plumage), as well as 7 Least Sandpipers, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and 2 Solitary Sandpipers.

Take Exit #133. On the south side of the overpass, you can turn on to Milett Rd, and follow it along the eastbound side of the highway. There is a low wet spot next to the road that's on the verge of drying out. There is room to pull over on the shoulder right at that spot. The Leasts and Pectorals were in this puddle. About 0.2 mi further down is a larger pond with long growth around it, that had the Stilt and 2 Solitaries.
