Thayer's Gull; Marquette Co. 10/14

Howdy Listers,
 I, along with Zack Gayk and Alec Lindsey had excellent looks at 2 adult Thayers Gulls in the Lower Harbor of Marquette this afternoon. We observed the birds from the South Beach just east of the Power Plant. Other good birds today included a LeContes Sparrow at the mouth of the Dead River (north side of town) and at my Lakewatch site on the north end of Presque Isle Park I had 7 Red-throated Loons, a rare migrant here in Marquette County.
