Listers-

I had Kip Miller's 1st winter Black-Legged Kittiwake at the tip of the north 
pier at the St. Joseph rivermouth, St. Joseph, Berrien County, from about 
1515-1550 hrs, 22 Nov 2004.  Access was via Tiscornia Park and Silver Beach 
County Park.  It took about 2 hours searching before I found the bird, and 
it was moving around quite a bit.  Twice it flew to the beach just south of 
the piers (it landed on the water a few feet out from the beach) and then 
flew back to the area near the tip of the north pier.  At 1550 hrs the bird 
flew about 1/2 mile out into Lake Michigan and put down on the water all by 
itself- I'd recommend scanning out into the lake if you come for the bird 
tomorrow.  Photos of this bird at link below.

Other birds present:
Thayer's Gull- single juvenile bird on beach about 1/2 mile south of piers 
(Photos at link below).
Common Loon- 2
American Coot- 1
Sanderling- 3
