A juvenile Sabine's gull was seen at close range today (feeding and flying) on lake Michigan near the elbow of the pier at Pere Marquette Park (south side of the channel) in Muskegon County. I was there around 2 p.m. It was hanging with about 60 Bonaparte's gulls. No purple sandpipers. Chip Francke
