Harris's Sparrow St. Clair county

Birders: My apology for the late post. Tuesday Nov.2nd we had an adult Harris's Sparrow present at our feeders all afternoon. My wife and I both saw it as close as 12ft. from our back door. I tried to get photos of it but couldn't. This bird was very nervous and wary of anything approaching it particulary our ever-present yard squirrels!  Wanting to see if it returned next day, and what with the very hectic Nov. 2nd I did not post here. Unfortunately it was not present today (Wednesday 3rd) . If it reappears I will repost!
