American White Pelican, Bay Co., 5-24-04

Sorry for the late post, but yesterday (5-24) one AMERICAN 
WHITE PELICAN was found at Nayanquing Pt. SGA resting on a 
sandbar.  It flew north and landed near the north boundaries 
of the park in among some Mute Swans.  It can be accessed by 
following the dike from the Kitchen Rd. parking lot out to 
the bay.

Also, a LEAST BITTERN was seen flying into a patch of giant 
reeds NE of the observation tower.

Lastly, a female CANADA WARBLER and a female MOURNING WARBLER 
were found feeding at the point proper.
