Snowy Egret--Berrien Co--11 May 04

Hello,

At noon on 11 May 2004, a SNOWY EGRET was located on the north shore of the 
south pond at Three Oaks Wastewater Ponds. This can be viewed from the ponds 
driveway off Schwark Road. Do not go past the gate (which was open). (Brief 
details--dark bill, legs and yellow feet; yellow around eye. Allwhite 
feathers.) Two GREAT EGRETS there for comparison.

This is the first county record since 2002.( Insufficient details on a bird 
reported 9 Apr 2003.)

12 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS,DUNLIN, etc were also presnt at the ponds at 
noon.
