Birders-

A little more information on the possible Lapeer County magpies- and it's
looking good. Turns out my brother also (independently) saw the same 2
birds at the same spot my dad saw them... They drive the same stretch of
I-69 in separate cars on the way to work. My brother saw them at 12:30 PM,
so the birds were at that location in the median of I-69 most of the day.
He also described them as 2 crow sized birds with crisp, bold, black and
white markings. He also noted white in the wings during flight, and he too
is quite familiar with the species from several trips out west.

Both my dad and brother are going to take another look tomorrow morning, and
will update me on what they find. I will update the list with any news I
get, and I may actually chase the birds after work.
