At 8:30 A.M. several members of the Muskegon County Nature Club observed
the previously-reported SNOWY OWL at the east end of the main dike at
the Muskegon County Wastewater facility. Wastewater employees report
that the owl has been on the property for the last week.

Other birds of interest on the MCWW properties included an AMERICAN
WIGEON and a BLUE-WINGED TEAL on the lagoons and several GREEN-WINGED
TEAL and several NORTHERN PINTAILS on the wet field southeast of the
Swanson-Laketon intersection.

At 12:20 P.M. we observed two PEREGRINE FALCONS at the B.C. Cobb Plant.
One of the birds was a full adult and one appeared to be somewhat
brownish.

If you don't post them to Mich-Chat or Mich-Listers, I would appreciate
an email from anyone observing a peregrine near the Cobb Plant this
season. Thank you.
