American Avocet--Berrien County--29 June 2004

Hello,

This morning around 8:30-8:45am, 29 June 2004, there was 1 AMERICAN AVOCET 
present at New Buffalo, Berrien County. I found the bird on the north shore 
of the Galien River mouth, on land owned by the Lake Michigan Yact Club. 
This is visible from the New Buffalo Public Beach parking lot.
Birders should know that there  is an entry fee of $5.00
