Black-crowned Night-Herron

At 5 pm on Saturday, while at the boat launch area of Dunton Park, my wife 
and I observed a Black-crowned Night-Heron standing on the opposite side of 
Lake Macatawa. The bird was standing at the base of the wall near the water 
line.

Dunton Park, just outside of Holland, is on the north side of the east end 
of Lake Macatawa. The boat launch area entrance can be found just west of 
the Pfizer Plant off of Howard Ave.
