B. Waxwings, Gulls in Marquette Co. 12/17

Howdy Folks,
 Spend the afternoon scouting for tomorrows Christmas Bird Count. Gulling was excellent at the county dump, with several species being seen.
Two 1st winter Great Black-backs, 1st winter Iceland and Thayer's Gulls (at one point both birds were in the same scope view!), a whopping 14+ Glaucous Gulls, along with a 3rd winter "Nelson's Gull" (GlaucousXHerring Gull Hybrid).
Other good sightings today included a large flock (250+) Bohemian Waxwings along the South Beach Rd. in the Lower Harbor.
