Hello,

Caleb Putnam was kind enough to pass this along, from Northbirding website. 
Presumably, the post was made the same day as the sighting, 5 December 2004. 
The surname of "Lois" is not known. The birding community must forgive my 
ignorance, as I am unaware as to what exactly the "Soo Line" is a reference 
to. Is it a railroad?:

NORTHERN HAWK OWL--"Perched at the north end of Soo Line in LUCE COUNTY at 
3:35 PM. Flew from tree to tree and then finally flew off into the west.
