[Mich-chat] Bald Eagle! Great Yard bird!

This PM was surprised and delighted to have a mature adult Bald Eagle circle overhead for quite some time, had good looks! We've waited many years hoping to see one here.  Have seen many others at other places even in this county. It seemed to concentrate on the 2 large Christmas tree plantations just across the road. 
Something dead in there? No photo op though.  Without checking I believe this makes 180 yard bird species!

   Where was it Sunday for our "Big Sit" count? Since then we've had RED-breasted Nuthatch, Song Sparrow and Yellow Bellied Sapsucker, all missed on the count. Go figure.
    For the count we were treated to witness our usual annual Grackle migration through here.  Best I could keep tract/count/estimate was swarm of 10,000 Grackles fly over!  Probably conservative estimate, may well have been up to 30,000! continuous stream for several  minutes, blackening the sky headed SW!
