Prothonotary Warbler, Flint River, Genesee Co 5/30/09

Birders,

Jason St. Pierre and I saw a breeding pair of Prothonotary Warblers this morning at the north end of a large island in the Flint River, about half way between Flushing County Park and Mt Morris Rd to the north.

We also saw two pairs of Prothonotaries along the "oxbow" trail at Shiawassee National Wildlife Area (Saginaw Co).
