Had a singing clay-colored sparrow in Williamston Park between Okemos and Williamston.  The park is on the north side of Grand River avenue, east of Meridian Road.  There are some athletic fields and a small hill used for sledding in winter.  Drive to the north end of the parking lot.  There is a trail that leads north from there.  Pass the dog walk trail on your left and walk until you get to a kiosk (brown thrasher singing).  Take the trail to the left (west), continue past the first trail that goes north, past a very small pond/wet area (willow flycatcher), until the trail turns north.  Just a short distance along that trail, the bird was singing in the area to the east.  It is a grassy area with scattered shrubs.  Seems like at this date in that habitat, could possibly be on territory.  I had the bird between 10:30 and 11:30 singing intermittently.  Saw it perched up and singing once in poor light.  This is not a long walk, maybe half-mile, but don't hold me to it.
