Shorebirds in Allegan

I went to the Todd Farm Unit of the Allegan State Game Area this evening on
the suspicion that there may be some shorebirds around after the heavy rains
last night. I found a nice assortment in the flooded fields on 118th Ave and
116th Ave between 58th St. and 62nd St:

2 White-rumped Sandpiper
1 Am. Golden Plover
18 Semipalm. Plover
11 Dunlin
15 Least Sandpiper
4 Less. Yellowlegs

By far the best spot was the ponded area on the southwest corner of 116th
Ave and 60th St.
