Whopping Crane, Sandhill Cranes, Kalamazoo County

Yesterday morning (sorry no time to post until now) I saw an adult Whopping Crane with a green and yellow leg band on the right and a brick red band the left in with a group of several hundred Sandhill Cranes in the field across from the entrance to Praire View County park in Portage, Kalamazoo County. 

There were also a group of 7 Pintails in the marsh to the east of Stryker Rd in the Gourdneck Lake State Game area.
