Kirtland's Warbler, Willit, Warbler Wave Manistee Co

Birders,    Arcadia was the place to be again this morning after 
Keith Westphal's Bewick's Wren yesterday.    At the end of Chamberlin 
road from 7 AM until about 9:30 there was wave after wave of warblers 
moving north.  Every 5 minutes or so the birds would build up until a 
few (30 - 50) started to fly together over the canal to Starke Pt. 
The movement was continuous  until about 9:00 when the faucet was 
turned off and it was suddenly quite with virtually no migrants left. 
It was one of the biggest concentrations of warblers I have seen 
along the coast here. Mostly butterbutts and palms with a few others 
thrown in; magnolia, bl-th blue, chestnut-sided, cape may, nashville, 
blue wing (song only) and one Kirtland's (I have photo but not posted 
anywhere). I was still hunting with my camera at the last vegetation 
before the canal and briefly saw the bird before it moved north. 
Keith showed up in time to confirm that I was not hallucinating about 
the numbers of birds.  Then we had a Willet fly by heading south.
