American White Pelicans not refound, 5/3, ottawa

(Not sure if this is the proper spot for this type of post/comment; please correct me if necessary.)  

William Martinus forwarded an email to me pertaining to pictures being taken of white pelicans on Lake Macatawa (Holland, Ottawa).  Apparently the pictures were taken "up the road" (most likely to the west) from the Yacht Basin (on Lake Mac's north side about 1 mile east of Holland State Park.)  The message was unclear as to wether the pictures were taken today or yesterday.  I searched Lake Mac and the various bays to the best of my ability this evening and was unable to relocate the birds.  

Interesting to note: this is at least the fourth consecutive year that Lake Mac has been visited by pelicans in the spring.
