Bohemian Waxwing, Ionia County...

Yesterday afternoon, I came across a flock of some 25 waxwings on M-44 in Belding, MI just west of the bridge.  After scanning the flock, I found one Bohemian sitting higher than the rest (and slightly larger).  A lifer for me!!
 
Also had 3 Sandhill Cranes on Ostrum Road just East of Chickering.
 
Neat to see a winter bird, then a Spring bird within minutes of each other.
 
 
Also, on Saturday afternoon, I had 2 Merlin sightings (different birds) a Rough-legged Hawk and a Cooper's Hawk along Stage Road East and North of Ionia.
