Yellow Rail at Houghton Lake Wildlife Research Area this year?

Hi Everyone, 

We were able to download the photos and here are 3 of the best ones.  Brian the rail research assistant took one picture when he released it.  I am so glad every got to see the rail.  The tour the following week only got to hear 1 rail.  Just FYI, this past week we have heard almost 25 rails at the second stop at the J-G spillway and captured and took blood samples from 16 of those 25.  It has been a great rail year at Seney NWR.  Thank you for coming along on the tour.  If there is any further information I can provide please feel free to contact me at anytime.
