Folks -
It's hard to believe the trek south has already begun.
On rainwater ponds south of Davis on Nixon (Eaton Co.), there was a single
Lesser Yellowlegs, 3 identifiable Least Sandpipers, and 23 or so unidentifed
peeps. One of the peeps seemed larger, but the rain prevented good views.
In the same area I had about 35 Killdeers and 6 Cliff Swallows - maybe a
family group.
There will probably be water in the sod farm pools the rest of the week.
