Barred Owl, Belding, MI...

I turned south on Chickering Road from M-44 (East of Belding) yesterday afternoon and was surprised to see my 3rd Barred Owl sighting of the year (4th Barred Owl as the first sighting involved 2).  I don't think I saw a single Barred Owl last year or the year before, so this just blows me away!  Throw in the Long-eared Owl in Lowell last month, and my daytime owl sightings year to date are averaging one every 10 days.  I could get used to this!!
