I went to the previously mentioned location on Barnes Lake Road in Lapeer
County today to see if I could get some photographs of the Pine Grosbeaks. I
managed to get some half-way decent photos, although nowhere near as good as the
ones I took last Sunday of the Bohemian Waxwings. The Grosbeaks were very
good at staying hidden behind a myriad of twigs and berries. I uploaded some of
the photos to the photo-sharing site:

To make up for the average quality, I added a photo of a Bohemian that I
somehow overlooked before--I think it's actually the best one!
If anyone goes to look for the Grosbeaks, be a little patient. The birds
would fly in, feed for a while, disappear, and then after a while more would fly
in. They will probably stick around for a while--there are plenty of
berries, enough to keep them stuffed for a long time.
