Pointe Mouillee 8-25-08

I went out to Pte Moo today.  Hoping to catch a  view of the baby 
black-necked stilts.  When I reached Long Pond it looked  at if someone had drained it 
and the stilts or other shore birds in that area  were no where to be seen.  
Does anyone know if the pond has been  drained?  Does anyone know if the 
black-necked stilts have moved to a  different area?
