St. Clair Flats, Red-necked Grebe, 29 Sept

Birders-

This morning 29 Sept. 2007 Dave Slager and I kayaked into St. Clair Flats (St. Clair Co.) to try to find Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow.  We failed in that endeavor, but did find a juv. Red-necked Grebe at Decker's Landing (visible from land at the very end of Anchor Bay Dr), 5 American Bitterns, Greater Yellowlegs, Black-bellied Plover, Pectoral Sandpiper, and a probable Le Conte's Sparrow.
